Recreation and Leisure Services and Events

The Recreation and Leisure Department's mission statement is: 

Golden Dawn's Recreation and Leisure department plans, implements and evaluates programs that are designed to enhance resident's quality of life. They support quality of life outcomes through therapeutic interventions based on individual assessments and treatments. These programs are designed to address resident's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social needs through customized group activities and individual care plans. 

Celebrations

Golden Dawn recognizes the importance of family celebrations.  Our residents are encouraged to invite their loved ones to join us for our Christmas celebrations and other events.   

Monthly birthday parties hosted by various community groups celebrate each of our residents' special days.

Spiritual Care

Our Spiritual Care Team is deeply committed to nurturing the well-being of residents and their families 

through spiritual friendship, counsel and prayer.   

The team provides loving care for our residents regardless of, and with respect for, individual faith and beliefs.   

Interdenominational Church services, hymn sings, reflections and one-on-one visits 

also support the spiritual needs of residents and their families
