Life Enrichment Program and Events

The Life Enrichment (formerly - Activation) Department's mission statement is: 

"To provide an optimum level of programming for the residents of Golden Dawn Senior Citizen Home based on individual identified needs."  

All residents are encouraged to participate in programs of interest to them and family members are always welcome to attend. 

A variety of activities are offered for the enjoyment of our residents.   

Fun and fitness, individual exercise programs, and restorative care are components of promoting a healthy lifestyle.   

Leisure and recreational activities include bingo, outings, knit & chat, music, video and board games, and so much more.

Celebrations

Golden Dawn recognizes the importance of family celebrations.  Our residents are encouraged to invite their loved ones to join us for our Christmas celebrations and annual fish fry.   

Monthly birthday parties hosted by various community groups celebrate each of our residents' special days.

Spiritual Care

Our Spiritual Care Team is deeply committed to nurturing the well-being of residents and their families 

through spiritual friendship, counsel and prayer.   

The team provides loving care for our residents regardless of, and with respect for, individual faith and beliefs.   

Interdenominational Church services, hymn sings, reflections and one-on-one visits 

also support the spiritual needs of residents and their families
