Palliative care at Golden Dawn involves all departments and all staff members. Care is aimed at relieving suffering and improving quality of life. As a team, we strive to assist residents and families to address physical, psychological, social, spiritual and practical issues. We promote opportunities for meaningful and valuable experiences, personal and spiritual growth consistent with the guidelines from the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association.

Care is most effective when delivered by a multi-disciplinary team of knowledgeable and skilled healthcare providers.  At Golden Dawn we have both a core and an extended resource team focused on supporting residents and their families.
